IELTS Resource Center (IRC)
IRC is one of British Council’s learning centers where IELTS candidates can learn or practice various skills to take IELTS exam. Moreover, this learning center holds workshops and seminars organized by British Council and SMEAG.
IRC staffs are here to assist SMEAG and other candidates in the registration process, documents and attending workshops such as Exceed Writing Workshop and IELTS seminars. This place is considered a one-stop service for IELTS. Student who need more information about IELTS can visit our IRC staff to explore all benefits and services provided by SMEAG and the British Council.
CAPITAL CAMPUS

Location : Guadalupe, Cebu, Philippines.
Environment : Guadalupe is the political center of Cebu with government agencies surrounding the campus. It is located in a residential area of important governmental members making the area very safe.

SMEAG ESL Highlights
- 1:1 classes taught by instructors who were specially trained in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. The intensive study program will benefit students’ learning system.

SMEAG IELTS Highlights
- The first and only authorized IELTS examination center in the Philippines. SMEAG collaborated with British Council to organize official IELTS exams since July 2011.
- SMEAG held an 8-hour workshop seminar organized by British Council to train instructors, receive accurate, updated IELTS information. As a result, students will receive high quality IELTS learning experiences which will result in higher exam scores.
- SMEAG has an IELTS Resource Center (IRC) that receives the latest information from British Council, resulting in a variety of tools to prepare exam candidates such as the latest IELTS exercise, CD and DVD.
- IELTS Program – No registration and examination fees will be collected until students are successful and receive the exam scores as they have expected. For students who have enrolled for at least 12 weeks, they must attend all classes and behave well.

- The only ETS authorized TOEIC test center in Cebu, located in the CAPITAL campus from July 2012 to the present. The exam is conducted by SMEAG and ETS.
- With over 10 years of experience, the R&D manager at SMEAG constantly organizes training for instructors to improve the quality of TOEIC classes. SMEAG also provides opportunities for instructors to try simulated and real exams to collect the data of the latest direction to update the textbook which will result in students obtaining higher exam scores.
